Original pre-event post

As touring begins to get moving again, this is an opportunity to speak to other touring organisations and discuss your shared challenges around audiences. This session will also be a chance to explore how the information available to you through Show Stats and Audience Finder can support your planning and help you understand your audiences nationwide.

These forums are a space for conversation with a like-minded community focusing on an artform or specific area of our work in each session. Designed to help you get the most out of the Audience Finder Data Tools by sharing ideas and approaches with colleagues, providing insight into our wider research and developments we are working on, and so we can learn from you and continue to offer the best support to the sector in the future.

Each forum consists of a 75-minute session and is open to all organisations from across the UK. New users to our tools are very welcome - we’ll be running a free onboarding session every other month for anyone who needs an introduction (or re-introduction) to the Audience Finder data tools.

Great to have such a chatty group at this session – big thanks to everyone who attended and contributed their thoughts.

To follow up on a few of the questions asked:

  • If there are particular venues you tour to who aren’t currently using Audience Finder – do let us know and we’d be more than happy to get in touch and help them get started.

  • And for those of you with longstanding relationships with venues that you tour to regularly, did you know that we can offer free In Practice sessions to help you both explore key insights about your shared audiences together (with mutual permissions of course)? Touring/Venue partnerships can request joint sessions here, just provide details of the attendees and we’ll arrange the rest.
